88 are the nautical miles that divide our structure from the summit of Monte Capanne, on Elba Island, which can be seen from our windows on clear, hazy days.
The B&B is located in a privileged position on the hills of La Spezia, with a wonderful view of the Golfo dei Poeti and the city. 88 Miglia was born from the idea of Carlotta, the owner, who converted a family real estate property for hospitality purposes. Hospitable person, who loves to cook, to be in contact with nature and brought to social relationships, has found in this activity the ideal way to combine work and passion.
The B&B has many bedrooms: standards, classic with panoramic view, deluxe and one Room with lounge, sea-view and independent access. The rooms have been recently renovated and equipped with every comfort and security system. Each room has a private bathroom, and the ability to access and use the common areas in the garden and on the terrace, including the use of equipment.
Only with reservation there is a private parking near our b&b , if
it’s available or you can leave your car for free on the edge of the
main road at only 50 meters from us.

La Spezia is in fact an important motorway, railway and naval junction, from which it is possible to reach large cities, as well as splendid coastal resorts, in less than an hour.
It is possible to go trekking or follow CAI routes on foot or by mountain bike, with unforgettable views across the cliffs overlooking the sea and the mountain ridges of Liguria.
